Rituparno Ghosh in dialogue with Kaustav Bakshi: "I know my city can neither handle me nor ignore me"

This was indeed long pending....the conversation with Rituparno Ghosh which began on 13 July 2012 on a very official note, transmuted into a very candid palaver over the next few months...the interview before it went to press, has since then undergone many changes....what you have here is a collage of the snippets of conversation I have had with Ghosh over a couple of months....It was impossible to accommodate all of that....nonetheless, the interview is immensely illuminating and you would certainly find Ghosh at his candid best!
